THE ULTIMATE TRICK PART 2

Do not read this article unless you have read the previous article on the ultimate trick

in this article i will be explaining how to use the trick...
all of us know that in bank exam we will not be given question where simple addition, subtraction is required but a combination of both can be there...

 so without wasting any time lets start with an example....

 THE example i am taking here are the previous year question from different exams...

 1. solve 5124 - 829 + 731 - 435 = ?  ( 4591)

solution by trick = 3 - 1 + 2 - 3 
                          = 5 - 4 = 1 ( ans 4+5+9+1 = 1)



2. solve 10789 +3946 - 2310 -1223 = ? ( 11202)

    solution = 7 + 4 - 6 - 8= -3 (minus3)

now here is a catch in the trick...
whenever your answer in the trick comes negative and the option are positive then subtract only the number from 9...
so for above question 9 - 3 = 6 final answer...... ( 1+1+2+0+2 = 6)



3. 3876 X 285 -17620 = ? + 5487 ( no doubt without trick more then 1 min require to solve this question)
 option are A. 1171355   B. 1081553
lets solve it by trick...

but in hindi there is a saying NAKAL KE LYE BHI AKAL KI JARURAT HOTI HAI...

u need presence of mind for cheating therefore from the next time when you use this trick try to find the last digit of the answer 
rewriting the question with a change   3876 X 285 -17620 - 5487 = ?

As in this question when we multiply 6 X5 we get last digit as 0 (ZERO) and when we further subtract (17620) we again get 0( zero).  and then in the last subtraction ( 5487) we get last digit as 3

 now apply the trick and get sure shot answer...
6 X 6 - 7 - 6 = -13 = -4 ( MINUS 4 = 5) remember something?
now look at the options both have sum digit of 5 but option B ends with 3 having sum digit 5 therefore it is the correct answer.....

4. -56 X 29 + 435 = ?
options are A. -706440    B. -1189    C. -1860   

 apply the trick ..
      -2 X 2 + 3 = -1 (minus1)  therefore the answer option B (-1189)

 now as you can see in this question i have not  subtracted the negative value from 9.... why?
because the option given are already in negative value... if they were in positive then only you have to subtract from 9 as in the earlier case.......

5. (24.2)sqr + ( 46.8) sqr - ( 37.2) sqr = ? + 1542.72    
option are 
 A. 150.68 
 B. 160.28 
 C. 155.42
D. NONE OF THESE

honestly tell me how many candidates are going to attempt this question provided that you do not know this trick??
a look on question tell us how much time its gonna take to solve...
but with this trick... lets see.....

 (8 X 8) + (9X9) - (3X3)  = ? + 3  
64 + 0 - 0 =? + 3
1- 3 = ? ( minus2) remember something ....
answer will be none of these ( option are positive so you have to subtract from 9)
NOTE- apart from this the trick can be used in DI section to a great extent.... you have to practice this trick a lot

    the trick cant be used in case of approx. answer because the sum digit will not be accurate....
    and also when there is division in the equation then also it sud not be used.....

      yes sure.. but i think it sud 1089 instead of 1149?
      33 + 79 - 0 = x + 11^2
      6 + 7 = x + 4
      13 - 4 = x
      9 = x (9 is also consider as 0 zero)
      the correct answer for the question is -8280 ( 8+2+8+0=18or 9 or 0)

      yes u can.. here is the solution..
      as you cant get the exact value of root7 therefore on squaring both side of the equation we get...
      49X7 + 625 + 81= 1049
      1 + 4 + 0 = 5 ( 1+0+4+9)

      after squaring the equatn we get..
      343 + 625 + 729 = ?^4 + 343 - 294849 + 23716
      1+ 4 +0 = 1 - 0 + 1 + ?^4
      3 = ?^4
      the answer of the question is 272487 = 3

      the answer to ur question sud be 8941 approx...
      but as it gives approx value where digit sum may be inaccurate because of the approximation...
      here is the solution...
      3X2 + 1X7 = 4 ( 8+9+4+1)
      6+7= 13 = 4......

      for percentage take this eg...
      ?% of 400 + 40% of 160 = 17% of 400 ( answer = 1)
      ? X 4 + 1 = 8 X 4
      ? X 4 + 1= 5
      ? X4 = 4
      ? = 1 (answer)
      here you have to ignore the % as it means 100= 1 will not bring any change in sum digit..

      just look at question 475+ 640 (rough) gives near about 1000 and u have to subtract 900 from dat so ur answer must be in 3 digit only.... i have told this in the blog itself.....
      CHEATING NEEDS PRESENCE OF MIND..... try to improvise by getting a rough answer by looking at the questn...

      there is no need to use the trick... its simple calculation...
      still..
      4 + 9x = 4
      9x = 0
      so you have to multiply 9 with any number such that you can get its sum digit as 0... alas every multiple of nine gives sum digit = 9 or 0......
      the answer is 23...
      9 X (2+5) = 45= 9 or 0

      the questn u gave here can be solved..
      apply the digit sum rule lyk..
      A 17500 - 40
      4-4= 0
      B. 25000-40
      7-3=4
      C. 35300-55
      2-1=1
      and so on...
      the minimum sum digit will be the answer...

      i have mentioned in the comments not to use the trick in approx answer...
      the exact answer to ur question is 35316.09 , which satisfy the above trick but as answer given is approximation therefore the digit sum does not work...
      digit sum of above question will be zero...
      {(0 X 5)- (8 X 6)}X 3
      0 - 3 X 3= -9 = 0

      u can solve any equation but when division by 3 and 9 is there then first u sud solve and eliminate them before using the trick... reason no matter which no. u multiply with 9 the digit sum will always be 9 or 0.....
      also dont use this trick when answer is approx as in this case.....

      a. will be the answer as per the trickk..
      but use ur logic also as check first and last digit kyunki bank exam me none of these kaal ban kar aata hai..

      i am still providing u the solution...
      3876 X 285 - 17620 = ? + 5487
      on adding digit 3+8+7+6 = 15 = 6 ryt?
      therefore according to trick the above question can be written as....
      6 X 6 - 7 = ? + 6
      (36=9=0) 0 -7 = ? + 6
      now we have
      0 = ? +6 +7 ( bringing 7 to other side of the equation)
      0 = ? +4
      if we add 5 and 4 we get 9 which is equal to ZERO...
      RHS = LHS...
      the answer of ur question is 1081553
      on adding the digit you will get 5.....

    on solving in our method we will root(x)=7
    means x=4
    now the options are: 1)49 2)3430 3)2500 4)4900 5)none
    now for both 1st and 4th option we will get 4.right answer is option 4.
    so how can we differentiate whether it is 49 or 4900
